- Care Instructions
- For burnt-on food, soak in hot water to soften, then wipe with a sponge. Do not use hard metal tools, steel wool or scouring powder.
- After use, wash with a sponge and diluted neutral dish soap, drain water from the hole under the handle bracket, wipe dry and air dry.
- Do not soak the handle. Screws may corrode and the handle may become hot.
- Do not use a dishwasher or alkaline detergents, which may cause corrosion or discoloration.
- Wipe a thin layer of oil over the cooking surface before each use to help extend the coating life and prevent sticking.
- Safety & Handling
- For domestic cooking only. Check that the handle is not loose or cracked before use.
- Fine marks may occur from manufacturing. Before first use, wash with diluted neutral dish soap, dry, then lightly oil the cooking surface.
- Preheat and cook on medium heat or lower. Never preheat for over 30 seconds. Use extra care with induction hobs 3 kW or higher.
- Do not use metal turners; use wooden or resin utensils.
- Do not use on a heating stove or in a microwave oven. Do not deep-fry.
- Do not modify or temporarily repair a damaged/loose handle. Retighten loose screws before use.
- The pan and handle become hot; use oven gloves or a cloth. Do not drop or impact the pan.
- Do not leave salty, alkaline or acidic foods in the pan, as they may cause corrosion.
- Never heat the pan empty. Let it cool naturally before cleaning; do not cool a hot pan with water, as this may damage the coating and cause flaking or sticking.
- Avoid contact with dissimilar metals such as iron to prevent rust.
- Avoid boil-overs and do not fill to the rim. Do not leave the pan soiled or cooked food standing in it.
- Ventilate the kitchen while cooking.
- On induction, center the pan over the ring. Do not use a warped base on induction.
