- Do not submerge the handle in water; internal screws may corrode or the handle may heat during later use.
- Do not use a dishwasher or alkaline detergents, as they may cause corrosion or discolouration.
- Apply a thin layer of oil before each use to help extend coating life and prevent sticking.- Safety & Handling
- For household cooking only. Check the handle is not loose or cracked before use.
- Before first use, wash with a sponge and diluted mild detergent, dry and lightly oil the cooking surface.
- Cook on medium heat or lower and never preheat for over 30 seconds.
- Do not use metal turners; use wooden or resin utensils.
- Do not use on a stove heater or in a microwave. Do not deep-fry.
- Never modify or temporarily repair a loose or damaged handle. Retighten loose screws before use.
- The body and handle become hot; use oven gloves. Do not drop or impact the pan.
- Do not leave salty, alkaline or acidic foods standing in the pan, as this may cause corrosion.
- Never heat the pan empty; this may cause burns, fire, coating loss or deformation.
- Let the pan cool naturally. Do not cool a hot pan with water, as this may damage the coating and cause peeling or sticking.
- Avoid contact with dissimilar metals such as iron to prevent rust.
- Avoid boil-overs and do not fill to the rim. Do not leave food or residue standing in the pan.
- Always ventilate the kitchen.
- Center the pan on the burner and ensure it is stable. Hold the handle if unstable to prevent burns or injury.
- Do not let flames lick up the sides of the base, as this may cause burns or odours.
- On gas hobs with a temperature sensor, center the pan so the sensor sits fully down, and hold the handle while cooking.
